I have an easy last minute Thanksgiving place card project for you today. I host Thanksgiving each year at our home and usually have about 23 guests attend. I try to keep things simple and everyone pitches in by bringing an assigned dish as well. A few weeks ago I was browsing through World Market while waiting for the kids to get out of school one day. I knew I wanted to get new napkins for Thanksgiving this year and this was the place for me! I decided to go with the Nutmeg Spice and the Plum Wine.
To put together the napkins, you’ll want to gather your supplies.
Cloth napkin of choice
Wooden tags (you could use mailing tags or cut your own from card stock too!
Gold DecoColor (this is the best gold paint pen I’ve come across, and I’ve tried many!)
Fresh rosemary (My nice neighbor trimmed a whole bunch off for me from her yard!)
Write the name of each guest on a wooden tag. I did the first couple of ours and then my daughter asked if she could help with the rest. I’m all for some cute little girl hand writing! Next, cut yourself a piece of twine approximately 24 inches long and tie it once around the center of your napkin. Slide the wooden tag onto one side of the twine and then tie again and then into a bow. Trim off a piece of rosemary and tuck it under your twine and you’re done! A simple but pretty Thanksgiving place card.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family!
