Googly Eye Bobby Pins

Can you believe that next week is Halloween already?! I think we have our costumes picked out, but I never know for sure with my daughter. She likes to change things up at the last minute! At our school, they do not allow you to wear costumes on Halloween.  My daughter still wanted to do something to be festive, so she’ll be wearing her Halloween shirt and I made these extremely easy googly eye bobby pins to stick in her hair.

There is a good chance you already have the supplies you need to make these already at home.

    You’ll need:

Bobby pins

Googly eyes

Hot glue gun

Ok, now let’s get to the really hard part.  Put a very small bead of hot glue onto the back of a googly eye or two if you want multiple on a pin, then carefully lay your bobby pin onto the glue. Watch those fingers! Let them dry for a few minutes and you’re ready!

You can do all kinds of fun things with them in your hair. When I did my daughter’s hair, I teased it a bit before putting it into the bun to make it a little more full and messy. We loved how it turned out. She wore it like this to school today, so I’m anxious to hear how her classmates reacted when they saw it!
