One of my most favorite things about the holidays is reading books with the kids to go along with the season. I’m always on the look out for new books that have come out and we always add them to our reading list. The kids and I can spend hours at the bookstore looking through the books and we love to request a whole bunch from the library to have for our reading picnics. I’m sharing with you our favorite new Halloween picture books that we chose this year.
Peanut Butter & Brains ~ A delicious tale about a zombie that wants peanut butter and jelly sandwiches instead of brains like the other zombies. A great story about being true to yourself. (This was the top pick by my 8yr old son.)
Pumpkin Time ~ A beautifully, colorful illustrated book. Evy is so focused on watching her garden grow, she doesn’t notice all of the silliness going on around her. In the end, everyone is invited to pumpkin time!
